In honor of the Indiana bicentennial, the Jackson County Public Library will conduct “Happy Birthday Indiana” parties for all ages and at all locations.

Participants will create special cards that will be sent back to the Indiana State Library for the Happy 200th Birthday Indiana manuscript collection. They also will play games and eat birthday cake.

The schedule for the parties, sponsored by the Friends of the Jackson County Public Library, is:

• 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.
• 10 a.m. Sept. 27 at the Seymour Library
• 4 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Crothersville Library, 120 W. Main St.
• 4:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the Medora Library, 27 W. Main St.
