Clarence Junior Findley, 88, of Union, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016, at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur, Missouri.

Born March 14, 1928, in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Clarence and Nellie Mann Findley, both of whom preceded him in death. On Sept. 6, 1964, in Brownstown, he was united in marriage to Alma Brewer, who survives.

Clarence served his country in the United States Navy from June 20, 1946, to April 21, 1948. He was a member and elder of Antioch Christian Church and active with Ozark Evangelistic Fellowship. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Seymour, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post, the Elks Lodge and involved with the Boy Scouts for more than 50 years. He retired from Bull Moose Tube Co. in Gerald, Missouri, as the purchasing manager and safety director.

Other survivors include his children, Keith (Tammie) Findley of North Vernon, Wesley (Jo) Wright of Eugene, Oregon, Sheri Wibberg of Belle, Missouri, B. Scott (Karla) Findley of Batavia, Illinois, and Eric (Jill) Findley of Warsaw, Missouri; a brother, George Findley of Greenwood; two sisters, Pearl Fletcher and Carlene (Dubb) Anderson, all of Seymour; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Beside his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ramona (Zellner) Findley; a brother, Joe Findley; and two sisters, Joanne Ponder and Delores Abrell.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Antioch Christian Church in Leslie, Missouri, with the Rev. Dave Atzenweiler officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. today at the church.
