NORTH VERNON

Melvin Dean Day, 83, of North Vernon died at 11:50 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016, at Premier Health Care Center.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Day; a son, Dexter (Lee Ann) Day of North Vernon; a brother, Norman Richard (Connie) Day of North Vernon; and a grandson.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
