RALEIGH, N.C. — Police say that the death of a woman whose body was found behind a store in Raleigh is being treated as a homicide.

Police tell local news outlets that the body of 44-year-old Olha Kocherhina was found behind a furniture store early Friday morning about 2 miles from where she lived.

According to a police report, a man who called 911 said he was from the Ukraine and an interpreter had to translate the call.

The man told authorities the woman had gone to a pool and didn’t return. He said he took a taxi to find her and found her in a pool of blood.

No arrests have been made in the case.
