Putting on their dancing shoes: Annual fundraiser set for Saturday

Past winners of the annual Seymour Dancing with the Stars hold a coveted place in the event’s three-year history.

A doctor with a passion for theatrics and tap dancing and his beautiful dance instructor.

A retired couple with flashy moves no one expected.

And a drug company representative who kicked it up with two country girls.

Soon, another couple will dance away with the title and trophy, but more importantly knowing they helped support the Boys & Girls Club of Seymour and Seymour Main Street.

The fourth annual Seymour Dancing with the Stars will take place this Saturday at Celebrations reception center and event hall, with a matinee show at 2 p.m. and the main performance at 6 p.m.
