Free bluegrass and gospel music shows have been planned for all three nights of the 44th annual Seymour Oktoberfest.

On Sept. 29, bands scheduled to perform are Monday Night Special and Deer Creek. On Sept. 29, Midwest Station, Hallelujah Hillbillies and Katz-N-Jammers will perform.

Then Oct. 3, Infinity, High Octane and Backwoods Bluegrass are scheduled to perform.

The shows begin at 7 p.m. each day at the stage on Chestnut Street north of Tipton Street.

Some bleacher seating will be available, but the public may bring their own lawn chairs.

D.L. “Don” Tatlock will be the emcee for the shows, and McIntire Alarm Co. will provide the sound.
