TRENTON, N.J. — Federal prosecutors say a New Jersey man pleaded guilty to sex trafficking of a minor and faces a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.

U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said Thursday that 29-year-old Aaron Gray, of Camden, pleaded guilty before a U.S. District judge to one count of sex trafficking of a minor, whose name authorities did not release.

Prosecutors say Aja Easley, who earlier pleaded guilty in the case, met the victim in March 2015 and told the minor about a “dating website” to make money by going on “dates.”

Authorities say the victim and Easley later met Gray and another person who agreed to advertise the victim online for sex acts.

The victim later called police, leading to an arrest.

Gray’s attorney, Andrea Bergman, declined to comment.
