The Paint the Town crew with Southern Indiana Center for the Arts will be traveling to Ewing Unique and Boutique on Thursday to offer a painting class and dinner.

Paint the Town is a social painting group class where no prior experience or talent is required.

Instructor Darnell Dukes will have the 10-by-20 canvas prepped and ready for participants to paint a stack of pumpkins, vines and sunflowers.

“This is a stunning fall piece,” she said. “It features shades of orange, yellow and green with a touch of country red and appears to be on a well-worn piece of barn wood.”

The event begins at 6 p.m. at the shop at 1050 W. Spring St., Brownstown.

Participants must preregister and prepay by calling SICA at 812-522-2278 no later than 5 p.m. Tuesday. Tuition is $35 per person, and a limited number of seats are available. All supplies and instructions are included as well as your choice of two out of three — soup, salad and sandwich. Tea and lemonade also will be provided.
