LAS VEGAS — Police say a man was shot to death in Las Vegas’ Chinatown district.

Authorities say shooting happened around 7 a.m. Sunday in front of a strip mall in the area of Spring Mountain and Wynn roads.

Lt. Dan McGrath says the victim, who was in his late 20s, was transported to a hospital but died from his injuries.

According to McGrath, there were signs of a struggle.

The victim’s jewelry and shoes were found strewn around the parking lot.

McGrath says one man has been detained but nobody has been arrested.
