TUSCALOOSA, Ala. — Authorities say a Tuscaloosa man charged in his twin brother’s murder after they both were shot by a man they were trying to rob has been released from the hospital.

According to AL.com (http://bit.ly/2dxfniw) 22-year-old Zhamelle Ware is charged in the death of his brother, Zhalil.

The Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit’s Capt. Gary Hood says Zhamelle Ware was released Monday.

Police say the shooting happened Wednesday night at a Tuscaloosa apartment complex. The victim told police two men approached his vehicle and tried to rob him. He pulled out a gun and shot at the suspects.

Zhalil Ware died on the way to the hospital. The victim suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Ware is charged in his brother’s murder and with attempted murder and robbery. His bond will be set at $255,000.

It was not immediately known if Ware had an attorney.
