JCB recently added a new senior leader and chief financial officer.

Thomas F. Cutter, a seasoned CFO, has served community banks throughout his career, most recently at Iowa State Bank, according to a new release from the Seymour-based bank.

David M. Geis, JCB president and CEO, said with more than 25 years of financial experience, Cutter brings an abundance of experience to fill the role opened as a result of Marvin Veatch’s promotion to chief operating officer.

Veatch will be stepping into the CEO role in 2017 when Geis retires.

Cutter is a certified public accountant and a graduate of Western Michigan University. He and his wife, Jan, have relocated to Seymour.
