LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Little Rock police are investigating after a pair of shootings left one person dead and three more injured.

The shootings happened less than 2 miles apart late Friday, but investigators say they don’t appear to be related.

Police initially reported that two people were killed in the shootings, but Officer Richard Hilgeman said Saturday that one of the victims believed to have been killed was revived and is in critical condition.

The victim in the first incident was fatally shot in the upper body while driving a car. Hilgeman says the three victims in the second shooting remain hospitalized.

He says police are still searching for suspects and witnesses to both shootings.

This story corrects the number of killed and injured in the shootings, per police.
