VALLONIA

Audra Nell Humphrey, 93, of Vallonia died at 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at Meadowview Health and Rehab in Salem.

Born April 5, 1923, in Vallonia, she was the daughter of Virgil and Elizabeth Achelpohl Humphrey, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Vallonia High School and had retired from Excello Shirt Factory and was a member of Vallonia Christian Church.

Survivors include her nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gilbert Humphrey, Don Humphrey and Leon Humphrey; and two sisters, Alice May Humphrey and Mildred Elizabeth Humphrey.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home with Chris Criminger officiating. Burial will be at Vallonia Cemetery.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. Tuesday until time of service.

Memorials may be made to Vallonia Christian Church, American Heart Association or donor’s choice of charity.
