The Indiana Department of Transportation will close several Interstate 65 ramps and a travel lane this week for remedial work as part of the $54.7 million pavement project between U.S. 50 in Jackson County and State Road 56 in Scott County.

Beginning at 7 a.m. today, southbound I-65’s right lane will close between mile markers 36 and 34 along with State Road 256’s entrance ramp at the Austin exit. Contracted crews will return to the site for bridge deck overlay repairs and pavement patching. This work will continue through Thursday.

On Wednesday night, northbound I-65’s exit ramp at State Road 56/Scottsburg and northbound entrance ramp at State Road 250/Uniontown will close for resurfacing between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.

On Thursday night, southbound I-65’s entrance and exit ramps at State Road 250 will close for resurfacing between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
