Trinity sweeps South Decatur


Trinity Lutheran won the battle of the Cougars, beating South Decatur 25-12, 25-15, 25-12.

Lexi Schneider pounded seven kills, and Courtney Barker served four aces to lead Trinity (11-12).

Abby Schult and Sydney Stahl each added four kills, and Whitney Rogers and Schneider each had two aces.

The Cougars will play in a tournament hosted by Edinburgh on Saturday.

Hornets fall in four


Columbus Christian topped Medora 25-12, 25-16, 24-26, 25-13 on Monday.

Katie Stewart pounded 15 hits, Kailen Flynn had 13 and Katie Beesley added 12 of the team’s 50 made attacks.

Serving, the Hornets finished 51-for-67 with Flynn and Beesley each notching a pair of aces.

Medora travels to Borden tonight.
