JCB Dress-A-Doll program begins

JCB, partnering with community members, once again will conduct its annual Dress-A-Doll program this year.

JCB customers and members of service organizations, such as Girl Scouts and 4-H, may check out a doll from JCB at no cost and then dress the doll and return it to be donated to a local organization giving toys to children for Christmas.

Once all of the dolls have been returned to JCB, they will be judged and ribbons will be awarded for best dressed doll in each of three categories (handmade, purchased clothing and under 15) and an overall grand prize winner.

The dolls will be donated to local charitable organizations, which will then distribute them to children in the area for Christmas.

“Dress-A-Doll is an important part of who we are and how we serve our communities,” said Sara Bevers Hildreth, JCB marketing officer. “We believe every child deserves a toy on Christmas morning, and we love being a part of making that happen.”

Anyone interested in participating may visit the bank’s main office at 125 S. Chestnut St. in downtown Seymour, the Jackson Park or Jay C Food Store branch, both in Seymour, or Brownstown banking center locations to check out a doll during bank hours.

For information, contact Suzie Riley, assistant banking center leader, at 812-522-3607, ext. 4430.
