NEW YORK — Prosecutors say a New York City man has admitted to stockpiling a cache of weapons and tens of thousands of bullets in his one-bedroom apartment.
Queens District Attorney Richard Brown said Wednesday Guo Shou (GOO’-wuh SHOH) accepted a plea deal to a criminal possession of a weapon charge. He’ll be sentenced Dec. 7 to two years in prison.
The 34-year-old Queens man was arrested after investigators raided his Rego Park apartment in February.
Police seized 15 handguns, two shotguns, more than 45,000 rounds of ammunition and 225 pounds of smokeless gunpowder. They say Shou also had unassembled parts of assault rifles and bulletproof vests.
He had a license for all but one gun.
