Braves conclude MSC play with win
SALEM
Brownstown Central concluded its Mid-Southern Conference play with a 25-9, 25-15, 25-9 victory Thursday at Salem.
With the win the Braves finished 8-1 in MSC competition, with their sole loss to Class 3A No. 6 Silver Creek.
Keeli Darlage led the Brownstown attack with 20 hits behind nine kills while Lainey Darlage and Ashley Schorer totaled 13 hits each.
As a team, the Braves finished with 11 aces on serves.
Brownstown (10-16) will play at the Bishop Chatard Tournament on Saturday.
