COVENTRY, R.I. — Police have arrested three people after finding 372 marijuana plants being grown inside a house in Rhode Island.

Police say they began investigating last month after an officer spoke to the residents of the Coventry home and became suspicious.

The department’s narcotics division returned Thursday with a search warrant.

Fifty-eight-year old Zheng Zhenfang was arrested and charged with cultivation of marijuana. Police later charged 36-year-old Emily Tsang, of New York City, and 45-year-old Liqiong Zheng, of New York City, with conspiracy.

Attempts to reach the trio for comment were not successful. There was no listed phone number for the home, and it was not immediately clear whether if any of those charged has hired an attorney.
