Brandi J. Schafstall Jackson, 42, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016, at her home.

Born May 29, 1974, in Seymour, she was blessed with two sets of parents, Carl and Deb Maxie and also Donnie and LeAnn Schafstall, all of whom survive. On Aug. 15, 1992, in Brownstown, Brandi married Jason Jackson.

A graduate of Brownstown Central High School and Ivy Tech Community College, Brandi had worked as an accountant, recently working at Advance Molding. She was a loving mother and enjoyed NASCAR, reading and camping. Brandi sat on the board and volunteered for Anchor House. She attended St. Peters Lutheran Church in Brownstown.

Besides her parents, other survivors include her two children, Damian Stone Jackson and Emily “Brooke” Jackson, both of Seymour; her brother, David Lee (Whitney) Campbell II of Nashville, Tennessee; aunt, Darlene Butt of Brownstown; grandmother, Jean Fish of Seymour; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brandi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cliff and LaVern Trimpe Schafstall, Robert Fish and Vurchell and Irene Philpot Maxie; and uncle, Jim Butt.

A celebration of life will begin at noon Saturday at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925 in Seymour.

Memorials may be made to a memorial fund for Damian and Emily Jackson.

Woodlawn Family Funeral Centre handled the arrangements.

Donations may be made at the funeral home or during the celebration of life at the VFW.
