Jerad Lee Burbrink, 39, of Jonesville passed away Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Oct. 14, 1976, in Columbus, he was the son of Curtis L. and Jerri R. Wheeler Burbrink.

Jerad was a member of The Point in Seymour. He was a 1995 graduate of Columbus East High School and had an associate degree in computer science from Ivy Tech Community College. He worked at Rose Acre Farms, Columbus Container and most recently Rightway Fasteners. He enjoyed listening to his collection of music, spending time fishing and watching sports, especially NASCAR. He had a deep love for his nieces and nephews and really enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his parents, Curt and Jerri Burbrink of Columbus; brothers, Justin (Laura) Burbrink and Joel (Becky) Burbrink, both of Columbus; maternal grandparents, Jerry and Delores Wheeler of Seymour; nieces and nephews, Beau, Brayden, Brooklyn, Brock, Kingen and Ava June Burbrink; aunts and uncles, Don and Jane Dunnington of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Royd and Lisa Wheeler, Robin and Cathy Wheeler and Roger and Karol Wheeler, all of Seymour; and several cousins and friends.

Jerad joined his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and June Burbrink; uncle, Rex Damon Wheeler; and cousin, Rex Alan Wheeler, in heaven.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at The Point, with Pastor Steve Greene officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at The Point. There will be a private family burial Thursday at Riverview Cemetery.
