The IHSAA released the 2016 volleyball sectional pairings Monday morning.

Sectional semifinals will be played at 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. before the championship game at 7 p.m.

Class 4A Sectional 15: Jeffersonville

Seymour’s volleyball team received a first-round bye and will face Jennings County in the semifinals of the Jeffersonville Sectional at 12:30 p.m. Oct. 22.

In the upper bracket, New Albany and Jeffersonville will square off and Floyd Central and Bedford North Lawrence will play.

Class 3A Sectional 30: Brownstown Central

Brownstown Central will host powerhouse Providence in the first round of its sectional on Oct. 18 at 7 p.m.

The winner will face Charlestown in the semis.

On Oct. 20, Silver Creek and Scottsburg will play, while Salem and Corydon Central match up.

Class A Sectional 61: West Washington

Medora faces Orleans and Crothersville takes on West Washington in first-round action at the West Washington Sectional on Oct. 20.

Matches are set to start at 6 and 7:30 p.m.

Trinity Lutheran and Borden got byes in the first round and won’t play until the semis.
