VINELAND, N.J. — Police say a Pennsylvania man has been arrested and charged with shooting another man to death at a New Jersey hotel.

Police say 33-year-old Ivan Strayer II, of Altoona, Pennsylvania, was found dead early Tuesday in a room at a Vineland hotel. He had been shot multiple times.

Authorities said Wednesday Larry Pulcine Jr., of Duncansville, Pennsylvania, faces charges including murder and possessing a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

Police say Strayer and Pulcine knew each other through their employment with a company that was doing work in the area. The company and the nature of the work weren’t immediately available.

Pulcine has been jailed on $750,000 bail. His arraignment is scheduled for Friday. It’s not known if he has a lawyer.

The investigation is ongoing.
