A Fort Wayne woman with ties to Jackson County has begun her first year at Earlham College in Richmond.

Josephine Burton is the daughter of Megan and Patrick Burton and the granddaughter of MaryJane and Patrick Burton of Medora.

Earlham is a liberal arts college.
