Miriam R. EuDaly, 100, of Seymour passed away at 10:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2016, at Lutheran Community Home, in Seymour.

Born Feb. 28, 1916, in Brookville, she was the daughter of Ophir W. and Roseanna Peek Klipple, both of whom preceded her in death. On Feb. 18, 1943, in Louisville, Kentucky, she married Marcus Bartlett EuDaly, who preceded her in death.

Miriam was a member of Seymour Christian Church. She attended Indiana Central College, now Indianapolis University, and Indiana State University. She was a retired educator with a Masters Degree and a year of postgraduate work at Indiana University.

Miriam served as an honorary missionary with One Missionary Services. She taught the children of missionaries in such far away places as Ecuador and Brazil. Her special interest was the genealogy of her husband’s family and her own family. She collaborated with 12 cousins in writing and having published a book relating to their families.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Karen (Buster Smith) EuDaly; grandson, Patrick EuDaly; two great-grandchildren, Rene (Junior) Gross and Justen Davis; five great-great-grandchildren, Leroy Beavers, Nicole Beavers and Lillie Beavers, Randy Gross III and Jackson Davis; and several nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronald D. EuDaly, and a sister, Lois Nelle Griffith.

A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Seymour Christian Church.

Private graveside service will be conducted by Voss and Sons Funeral and Crematory Services of Seymour, at Riverview Cemetery.
