Jackson County Treasurer Maria Fisher reminds taxpayers that the fall installment of this year’s property taxes are due Nov. 10.

Payments made in the treasurer’s office at the Jackson County Courthouse in Brownstown must be in the form of cash, check, money order or cashier’s check.

Taxpayers also can pay at any of The Peoples Bank branches or at State Bank of Medora with their tax statement.

Payments are accepted online at www.jackson-tax.net or by calling 800-809-5849. There is a 2.95 percent processing fee.

Payments postmarked or made in person after Nov. 10 will automatically incur a penalty.
