Brownstown Church of the Nazarene will be conducting “Taste of Countries” at 5 p.m. Nov. 6 in the church family center.
The community is invited to attend this night of food, fun and fellowship. There will be tables and booths set up of many different countries. Each one will have a “taste” of foods from that country.
People will be dressed in different attire as well as people of different nationalities on hand. This is to bring awareness of how people are all alike in many ways but share differences, for example in dress and foods.
There also will be a bank at each table/booth. If you enjoyed and liked the food, you can donate/vote for that country. This is to help raise monies for the church’s Thanksgiving offering goal for missions. After you have your “taste” of each country, there will be an American table of food to eat.
The church is at 616 W. Commerce St., Brownstown.
