MACON, Ga. — A 22-year-old man has been indicted on murder charges following the death of his girlfriend in Macon.

The Telegraph ( ) reports that Bibb County grand jurors indicted Daniel C. Hall on Tuesday in the Aug. 7 death of 27-year-old Kendra Roberts.

Hall was charged with malice murder and felony murder after Roberts’ body was found along a road near the apartment complex where she lived with Hall and her brother.

Authorities say the couple had argued and Hall was the last person to see her. Police say Roberts was shot in the back while wearing a backpack, but Hall says Roberts killed herself.

Jail records show Hall is being held without bond at the Bibb County jail.
