LINTON

Kathleen A. Lowe, 64, of Linton passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, at Linton Nursing and Rehab.

Born Jan. 15, 1952, in Niles, Michigan, she was the daughter of Gail and Joan Alspaugh McNitt, both of whom preceded her in death.

Kathleen had an Associate’s Degree in business and worked for 17 years as manager of Smoker’s Host before her retirement in 2013. She enjoyed her cats, collecting carousel horses and was an avid reader. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Survivors include her companion, Ralph Kirk of Linton; two sons, James Lowe of Fort Wayne, and Steven (Heather Eshelman) Lowe of Elwood; a daughter, Kendra (Robert) Lasley of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren; and three brothers, Brian (MJ) McNitt of East Lansing, Michigan, Terrence (Linda) McNitt of Niles, Michigan, and Timothy (Amy) McNitt of Bellingham, Washington.

There will not be public viewing or a service.

James W. Meng Jr. and Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton handled the arrangements.
