David Wayne Freeman Sr., 54, of Seymour, died Monday, Oct. 17, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center after a short illness.

Survivors include his wife, Melissa; three daughters, Melissa (Mike) Freeman, Katie (Raymond) Freeman and Davida Freeman; son, David Wayne Freeman Jr.; two grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Sally) Freeman, Sammy (Angie) Freeman, Paul (Jody) Freeman, Elvis Freeman, Willie Freeman; a half brother; and two half sisters.

A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at New Life Assembly Church, 800 Brookhaven Drive, Seymour. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service.
