VERSAILLES

Charles Joseph “Charlie Jo” Deaton, 51, of Versailles died at 9:21 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, 2016, at Margaret Mary Community Hospital in Batesville.

Survivors include his wife, Pam Deaton of Versailles; children, Dustin Deaton and Kelsea Deaton, both of Versailles; mother, Judith Deaton of North Vernon; brothers, Mike Deaton of North Vernon and Troy (Heather) Deaton of Greensburg; sisters, Lisa Bowles of Westport and Tina Burgess of Birmingham, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christeena Hubbard.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made for expenses.
