A Project WILD and Project WET workshop for educators will be Nov. 12 at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge, 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.

The workshop will start at 9 a.m. at the refuge visitor center and end by 3:30 p.m. The workshop is free, and lunch will be provided by the Muscatatuck Wildlife Society.

It will be of special interest to teachers, Scout leaders and homeschool parents who want to teach their students about wildlife, wetlands and conservation.

Project WILD and Project WET are award-winning curriculums featuring fun and interactive ways of teaching students about wildlife and wetlands.

The curriculum guides will be provided free to those completing the workshop by the wildlife education branch of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. In-service credit is available for teachers who complete the workshop.

To register or for information about the workshop, contact the refuge office at 812-522-4352 or email [email protected].
