The Hoosier Trails Council of the Boy Scouts of America plans to conduct its 2016 Council Camporee today through Sunday at the Jackson County Fairgrounds at Brownstown.

More than 650 scouts from the 18 counties that comprise the Hoosier Trails Council area are expected to attend the event, which features a weekend of activities and competitions.

The Hoosier Trails Council service area extends from Morgan County south to the Ohio River.
