Anna K. Hobbs, 86, of North Vernon died Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016, at North Vernon.

Born Nov. 23, 1929, at Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Mainie Reguson and Zelda Scrugs Ferguson, both of whom preceded him in death. She married Lealand Hobbs, who also preceded him in death.

She was a homemaker and member of Seymour First Baptist Church

Survivors include a son, Ronald (Mary) Hobbs of Scottsburg; a daughter, Sharlene Banks of North Vernon; six grandchilden, Tarrence D. Banks, Shawna J. Banks, Jennifer L. Deaton, Maron Potter, Ronald (Martina) L. Hobbs Jr. and Shron Hobbs; six great-grandchildren, Lilly M. Banks, Samuel E. Banks, Tyler James Shaver, Jessie Wayne Shaver, Zakah Lynn Shaver-Tabolinsky and Summer Rose Shaver; two great-great-grandchildren, Elnore Shaver and Cadance Shaver; and brothers, Robert Ferguson, Pete Ferguson and Bill Ferguson.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Glen Ferguson, Paul Ferguson, George Ferguson and Eugene Ferguson; and sisters Goldie Ferguson, Judy Pennington, Frances Cowan and Lillie Eldridge.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at Stewart & Hoagland Funeral Home in Scottsburg. Burial will be at Stark Cemetery in Scottsburg.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service today.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association.
