For the first time this school year, the Seymour Middle School Sixth Grade Center is offering a newspaper club for students.

The 10-member staff is led by Mindy Clay, a teacher at the school. The students gather news around the school and community, and Clay places that information onto a sheet of paper. That goes out to the school each week.

The students meet for 45 minutes after school each Monday.

Clay invited Tribune staff writer Zach Spicer to speak to the club about his job after school today.

Read about the newspaper club in an upcoming issue of The Tribune and online at tribtown.com.
