Robert Bearden, 69, of Seymour passed away Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, at his residence.

Born June 18, 1947, in Union City, Tennessee, he was the son of Robert O. Bearden and Rachel Cameron Goodwin, both of whom preceded him in death.

Bob was a member of the Eagles Club, Moose Lodge, American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars in Seymour. He retired from Cummins Engine Co., where he worked for 30 years. He was loved by a lot of people and will be missed.

Survivors include his two sons, Rick (Glenda) Bearden and Curtis Bearden, both of Seymour; three grandchildren, Whitney Hauer Bearden, Dylan Bearden and Cody Bearden; and a brother, Ronnie Bearden of St. Louis.

The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre in Seymour with Pastor Rick Wilson officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until time of service Wednesday.
