To the editor:

Do the people in Jackson County know how blessed they are to have a cancer center here?

What a wonderful, compassionate, friendly group of people who work there.

Dr. Higinia Cardenes and Dr. Dolores Olivarez are fantastic and caring.

There are hugs, smiles and yes, sometimes tears. I can’t say enough about this group of caretakers.

I don’t know what my husband and I would do without them.

I hope no one has to go through cancer, but if you do, you won’t be alone.

I thank God every day for them.
