Mary E. Kamman Storbeck of Seymour passed away Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016.

Mary graduated from Valparaiso University in 1951 and loved her time teaching high school history and English.

She was married to Robert “Bob” Storbeck, who preceded her in death.

Bob and Mary raised their family in the Chicago area, where Mary owned a real estate business. She loved her retirement years in their small lake home in Three Rivers, Michigan, where she was active in her church and enjoyed time with friends.

Survivors include her children, Julia and Linda (Kevin Sullivan); grandchildren, Hannah (Guy Trueblood), Matthew, Brian, Thomas and Eleanor; a great-grandchild, Julianna; brother Harold Kamman; and nieces and nephews, Eileen (Gordon) Ritter, Marilyn (Jack) Carney and Lois (Ron) Buesser.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark; a sister-in law, Thelma Kamman; and a niece, Ruth (Brian) Murphy.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Grein Funeral Directors, 2114 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago. Interment will be private.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
