Beulah Edna Luckey, 83, of Seymour passed away Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center.

Born July 13, 1933, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Albert W. and Iva D. Nowling Cole, both of whom preceded her in death. She married Earl Luckey on Dec. 9, 1950, in Brownstown. He preceded her in death Nov. 30, 2014.

Beulah was a member of Seymour Christ Temple where she was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years. She worked at Shaw Gerwin Shoe Co. in Seymour for 10 years; retired from Excello Shirt Factory in Seymour in 1979 after 13 years; and then retired from Summit Cleaner in Seymour after 13 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Linda Jaynes, Brian (Deloris) Luckey and Mark (Shannon) Luckey; grandchildren, Sherry Kinworthy-Selby, Aaron (Morgan) Luckey and Mindy (Adam) Velez; great-grandchildren, Dessira Kinworthy, Drew Selby, Nori Luckey, Titus Velez, Tanner Velez and Ella Luckey; and two sisters, Ethel McDonald and Ella Jaynes.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, David Luckey; daughter, LaDonna Luckey; two brothers, James and Robert Cole; and six sisters, Elizabeth Brown, Rosemary Ault, Ruby Byarlay, Annie Elliott, Sarah Darkis and Myrtle Weddle.

The funeral service will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Seymour Christ Temple, 607 Euclid Ave. with the Rev. Dennis Allman and the Rev. Dennis Allman II officiating. A graveside service will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the church.
