A National Novel Writing Month Write-In event will take place from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday in the meeting room at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Members of library’s Spilling Ink Writers’ Group serve as host for this annual event. Registration is not required for this free program, which is open to all ages.

Published author and library Information Services Assistant Kathi Linz leads the group, which meets on a mid-month Saturday each month.

Published and unpublished writers are welcome to join the group.
