The community is invited to attend Central Christian Church’s Hanging of the Greens Service at 6 p.m. Nov. 27 in the sanctuary of the church at 1434 W. Second St. in Seymour.

The service marks the beginning of the season of Advent, a time of preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Those who attend are invited to stay after this special service and join in a time of fellowship and to enjoy Christmas cookies and finger foods at a Christmas tasting party in the fellowship hall.
