HIGHLAND FALLS, N.Y.
Daniel J. Londot, 67, passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2016, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Cornwall, New York.
Born Dec. 13, 1948, in Seymour, he was the son of Betty Underwood Londot, who survives in Brownstown, and William E. Londot, who preceded him in death.
Dan was a sergeant first class with the U.S. Army and retired after 27 years of service at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York. He was NCOIC of the Veterinary Clinic and Army Mules and installation food inspector for U.S.M.A., West Point, New York. He was formerly with the Memorial Affairs Office at West Point, New York, and active with youth sports and Cub Scouts in Highland Falls, New York.
Other survivors besides his mother, include his wife, Ulla I. Larsen Londot of Highland Falls, New York; son, Lars W. (Linsey) Londot of Nashville, Tennessee; daughter, Krista M. (Michael) Jones of Highland Falls, New York; brother, David L. Londot of St. Joseph, Michigan; sister, Betty Sue Baute of Brownstown; four grandchildren, Aaron, Bryan, Weston and Maxwell; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Londot.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Old Cadet Chapel, West Point, New York. Interment will be at West Point Cemetery, West Point, New York. There will be no visitation.
