Brownstown Public Library has announced upcoming story times.

They will be from 3:30 to 4 p.m. today, Nov. 30 and Dec. 7, 14 and 21 at the library at 120 E. Spring St.

The program, for children ages 2 to 6, begins promptly at 3:30 p.m. A library staff member will come to the children’s department to let children know that it is time for the program.

Each week, children will be introduced to a different theme through a combination of stories, songs, finger plays and crafts. Children who attend this program should be able to color and use glue sticks independently.

A parent or guardian must attend story time with children younger than 3 to assist with finger plays and craft projects. Also, in accordance with library policy, parents and guardians must remain in the building with all children younger than 5.

All children will be escorted back to the children’s department at the end of the program.

If Brownstown Central Community School Corp. closes due to weather, all children’s programming will be canceled.
