SEYMOUR

Robert L. Cross, 66, of Seymour passed away Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016, in New Castle.

Born June 8, 1950, in Seymour, he was the son of Flemon R. Cross, who preceded him in death, and Anna M. Gilham Cross, who survives in Seymour.

Robert was a forklift driver for Seymour Manufacturing and a member of Cornerstone Community Church in Seymour.

Besides his mother, survivors include his stepdaughter, Misty Dawn Thompson-Duckwall of Greenville; three brothers, Melvin R. (Marlene) Cross and James E. Cross, both of Seymour, and Roger D. Cross of Blocher; four sisters, Marilyn A. Nowling of Seymour, Brenda K. Cross of Blocher, Donna M. (John) Clark of Versailles and Charlene Brothers of Clarksville; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his father, he was preceded in death by three brothers, David Wayne Cross, Ronald E. Cross and Danny J. Cross.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Collins Funeral Home in Scottsburg.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday.

Burial will be at Emmanuel Baptist Cemetery near Blocher.
