Church seeking vendors for holiday bazaar

0

Vendor booth space applications are being accepted for the 12th annual Brownstown United Methodist Church Snowflake Christmas Bazaar, set for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 10.

Applications are due Friday.

Handcrafted vendors are being sought. Party plan (Tupperware type) sales are not allowed.

Last year, there were 40 vendors on site. Applications have been mailed to last year’s vendors.

Six-foot tables are available for rent for $25 for one and $40 for two. Tables and chairs will be provided. There are a limited number of electrical outlets, so specify if you need electricity when you apply.

Setup is by appointment Dec. 9 or from 7 to 8 a.m. Dec. 10. Freestanding backdrops may be used, but nothing can be attached to the walls.

Booth rental fees must accompany the application to reserve space. Space is limited, so early reservations are encouraged, as there always has been a waiting list.

A cookie walk will be conducted by the church, so it is requested that no vendors sell cookies; however, other baked goods, such as breads, cakes or pies, are acceptable.

There will be a quilt raffle, a silent auction for themed baskets and a white elephant sale, and lunch will be served.

The church at 110 N. Poplar St., Brownstown, is handicap accessible to all areas with ramps and an elevator.

For information or an application, contact bazaar chairwoman Margo Brewer at 812-358-2924.
