The Hayden Historical Museum will be the site of a Christmas open house from 1 until 4 p.m. Dec. 4.

The museum, old gas station and A Place Called Yesterday building will be decorated for the Christmas season.

Lester Tracy will be playing Christmas music on some of the antique musical instruments for everyone to enjoy in A Place Called Yesterday. A special holiday treat will be waiting for those who stop in to see the 1947 Sinclair gas station. The 1965 living room exhibit inside the museum will be decorated for Christmas, which will include an aluminum tree. Classic Christmas cartoons will be playing on the black and white television.

There is no admission charge for this event but visitors may make a donation. Proceeds will go to the restoration and preservation of the home place of former Indiana Governor, Edgar Whitcomb. Homemade soups and snacks will be served in the museum meeting room in exchange for a free-will donation.
