SPARKSVILLE

Beverly K. Bowers, 62, of Sparksville died at 8:55 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 24, 2016, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Born Dec. 20, 1953, in Indiana, she was the daughter of Lowell Dean Huffman and Anna Blanche Wilkerson Huffman, both of whom preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and cook at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown for several years.

Survivors include a son, Junior Dale (Jennifer) Bowers of Salem; a daughter: Angela (W.T.) Moon of Salem; five grandchildren, Dillian Moon, Courtney Miller, Brandon Bowers, Anthony Bowers and Kayla Cornett; five great-grandchildren, Kailyn Casey Strong, Gracie Bowers, Aubree Cornett, Brantley Bowers and Mason Cornett; a brother, Phillip Huffman of Clearspring; and a sister, Connie McVay of Sparkville.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeffery Bowers; and a sister, Bonnie Huffman.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hague Funeral Home in Medora with Pastor Greg Underwood officiating. Burial will be at Dixon Chapel Cemetery in Lawrence County.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday.
