Church planning Christmas program

A special Christmas service will be conducted at 6 p.m. Dec. 11 at Uniontown Baptist Church.

The public is invited to this program, entitled “Why He Came, Not Your Usual Christmas Story!”

With the Christmas season upon us and all the uncertainties of the days ahead, the church’s congregation remains focused on the true meaning of Christmas and why He came, according to a news release from the church.

Several people from the area will be sharing their personal stories of the hope they have in Jesus Christ. These people have found victory over many of life’s problems and have been on a steadfast path of serving God. They may not be famous or world renowned but the lives they now live have proven that with God, All things are possible.

There also will be a time of fellowship after the service.
