Dennie Box, 73, of Scipio died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2016, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Box of Scipio; son, Greg (Stacey) Box of Westport; daughter, Jeanine (Bill) Garcia of Scipio; his mother, Jean Sheckell of New Albany; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Cindi Vaughn of Louisville, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by a son, Dwayne Box.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Connie Barr officiating. Burial will be in Bear Creek Baptist Cemetery in Jennings County.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Wednesday.
