Lloyd Stewart Robbins, 55, of Brownstown and formerly of Seymour, passed away at 2:12 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, at his home surrounded by his wife and family.

Born Feb. 11, 1961, in Seymour, he was the son of Morton L. “Jimmer” and Susan Nunn Robbins, both of whom survive. On June 15, 1981, he married the love of his life, Patricia Kay “Patty” Allman. She also survives.

Lloyd was a graduate of Seymour High School where he was in the marching band. He retired from the Walmart Distribution Center after 20 years of service. He was a member of ABATE Region 7 and the Moose Lodge. He also was a member of Mountain Baptist Church where faith became a very big part of his life.

Everyone that knew Lloyd knew his love for music, especially rock and roll. He played as a one-man band and played a lot of instruments, especially guitar, harmonica and drums. This was a passion he shared with his son. He also spent his free time doing wood working and riding his motorcycle. Family and friends was very important to Lloyd.

Other survivors besides his wife of 35 years, Patty Robbins and his parents, include Jimmer and Susan Robbins of Seymour; son, Lloyd Steward “Junior” (Brittany Lentini) Robbins of Seymour; two sisters, Mary JoAnne (Jerry) Guffey of Seymour and Callie Suzanne (Jim) Breeding of Brownstown; two sisters-in-law, Kimberly Gail (Tony) Winchester of Austin and Terrie Allman of Seymour; a brother-in-law, Tom Allman Jr. of Seymour; and two grandchildren, Zeppelin Robbins and Kolton Baughman.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Helen Robbins; his maternal grandparents, Stewart and Callie Nunn; and an uncle, Stephen Robbins.

A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Mountain Baptist Church in Seymour.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of service Saturday at the church. A time of fellowship will follow services.
